In her sophomore year, Shaliyah dominated the court, featuring in all 30 matches and securing 20 starting line-up appearances. She ranked third in kills with an impressive tally of 274, while contributing 30 total blocks. Shaliyah showcased her prowess by achieving double-digit kills in 11 matches, achieving a season-high of 17 kills against North Texas on Sept. 2.
Freshman Year Achievements:
During her freshman year, Shaliyah left an indelible mark, participating in all 31 matches and playing in 112 of 113 sets. Notably, she set a career-high record of 23 kills and seven digs at Seton Hall on Oct. 1. Her stellar performance included 20 double-digit kill feats, leading the Friars with a total of 359 kills. She earned multiple accolades, including appearances on the BIG EAST Honor Roll and being named to the All-BIG EAST Freshman Team.
High School Achievements:
At Sachse High School, Shaliyah was a force to be reckoned with, named Offensive Player of the Year and MVP during her senior season.
